What to expect during your appointment
Once you have your prescription, book an appointment at our orthopedic laboratory. We will perform a biomechanical assessment to make or select the orthopedic solution best suited to your needs.
We specialize in custom foot orthotics and also offer prefabricated devices. These devices must also be adjusted to the patient and the condition being treated.
During the consultation, we assess the abilities and limitations of the affected area and take the measurements needed for a scan-based mould. We then prepare a fabrication plan covering the components, shape and characteristics of the orthosis.
If it is a type of orthosis we make, your device will be fabricated on site. Otherwise, we send the required information to a carefully selected manufacturer so that it can provide the product suited to you.
