Orthoses for the lower limb
A lower-limb orthosis is a medical device designed to support, align or correct deformities and improve the function of the joints and muscles in the legs. It may target the foot, ankle, knee or hip.
Orthopedic walking boot
An orthopedic walking boot stabilizes the foot and ankle after an injury. It supports a gradual return to activity by distributing pressure and promoting recovery.
This orthosis may be used for:
- Foot or ankle fractures
- Severe sprains
- Post-operative recovery

Ankle orthosis
An ankle orthosis supports everyday and athletic movement and helps prevent sprains through a custom fit that provides protection and comfort.
This orthosis may be used for:
- Ankle sprains
- Chronic instability
- Prevention of sports injuries

Knee-ankle-foot orthosis – tibial orthosis
This orthosis corrects deviations in knee and foot alignment, providing stability and mobility. It can help patients who have undergone surgery or sustained complex injuries.

- Foot drop
- Lower-limb paralysis
- Neuromuscular diseases

Orthoses for the upper limb
An upper-limb orthosis supports, aligns and improves the joints and muscles of the arm, including the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder. It may be immobilizing or functional, depending on whether stabilization or support during movement is needed.
Wrist orthosis
A wrist orthosis is used for carpal tunnel syndrome and minor sprains. It holds the wrist in a neutral position to provide relief and support recovery.
This orthosis may be used for:
⦁ Carpal tunnel syndrome
⦁ Tendinitis
⦁ Wrist sprains

Elbow orthosis
An elbow orthosis is useful for treating musculotendinous conditions. By stabilizing the elbow, it reduces strain on the tendons and muscles and supports healing in a protected position.
This orthosis may be used for:
⦁ Elbow fractures
⦁ Medial and lateral epicondylitis
⦁ Bursitis
Epicondylitis orthosis
Specifically designed to reduce tension on the epicondylar tendons, this orthosis relieves pain by reducing the load on tendon attachment points. It is well suited to athletes and people who perform repetitive activities.

This orthosis may be used for:
⦁ Adhesive capsulitis
⦁ Rotator cuff tears
⦁ Shoulder arthritis
Maternity support belt
This belt supports the abdomen and lower back during pregnancy. It relieves lower back pain by distributing abdominal weight more evenly.
This orthosis may be used for:
⦁ Lower back pain during pregnancy
⦁ Postural support
⦁ Pelvic instability
Lumbar brace
A lumbar brace is suited to lower back pain. It provides firm support while retaining enough flexibility for everyday use.
